Last month’s issue of The Candy Chronicle featured both the opening of Cadbury’s limited time Soho-based pop-up shop and the release of McDonald’s Japan-specific McChoco Potato fries. Well just a month later, both Cadbury and McDonald’s have done it again…albeit a couple thousand miles away from both the UK and Japan. Just this past February, participating McDonald’s restaurants in Australia began offering a new variant to their popular McFlurry dessert!

Available for a limited-time for McDonald’s patrons “down under” for a modest $4.80AUD, the Cadbury Crème Egg McFlurry offers to their beholders a rich, decadent blend of McDonald’s familiar vanilla soft serve ice cream, Crème Egg fondant sauce, and crushed milk chocolate that’ll earn any dessert aficionado’s seal of approval!
However, this treat isn’t the first time Cadbury and McDonald’s have teamed up together. In 2006, a similar McFlurry variant featuring crushed Cadbury Mini Eggs was marketed for a limited-time in the UK.

Unfortunately, McDonald’s patrons in the U.S. have never gotten their shot at testing out either variant of these Cadbury-McDonald’s creations. That didn’t sit too well for Jon at Candy Pros who decided to take matters into his own hands and recreated a homemade makeshift version of this tasty treat! Check out his video!
